Influencer Booklet

The Influencer Book project aimed to curate a visually captivating collection of images and written works celebrating the remarkable journey of a talented Graphic Designer. The project involved meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the size of the book pages would be optimal for a delightful reading experience. Additionally, the design concept incorporated a cohesive artistic theme, reflecting the unique style and aesthetic of the featured Graphic Artist.

The book encompassed various elements, including enlightening articles shedding light on the artist's life and extraordinary body of work. Notable works by the artist were thoughtfully highlighted at the top, showcasing their exceptional talent and creative prowess. Furthermore, the book delved into the artist's background, providing valuable insights into their journey and demonstrating why they were selected for this influential project.

To capture the essence of the book's contents, the front cover graphic was meticulously designed to reflect the iconic image showcased on the first page, featuring the esteemed Graphic Designer, Will Staele. The color palette of red, black, and white was intentionally chosen, as it serves as a recurring motif in the artist's compelling portfolio, unifying their body of work and adding visual coherence to the book.

Moka Pot

Above is an infographic on how to use a Moka pot to make coffee. No words are allowed only graphics. Originally, the color background was blue but I tried two other colors to see how they would look.

Posters

Recreation Poster

This project serves as a recreation of the book cover "This Savage Song" by the acclaimed author, Victoria Schwab. Inspired by the dynamic movement of Constructivism, the design endeavors to capture the essence of this influential art style.

Originating from Russia during the early 20th century, Constructivism embraced eye-catching typographic elements intertwined with planes of various shapes. The color palette predominantly featured bold shades of black, captivating grayscale hues, vibrant red, and delicate hints of light yellows. It is worth noting that the use of vibrant colors is intentionally limited, with red serving as the sole captivating hue. The artistic approach often encompassed simplified outlines or designs, subtly alluding to recognizable objects.

Throughout the design process, a steadfast commitment to adhering to the defining characteristics of Constructivism guided the creative decisions. By employing the signature color palette and utilizing captivating typographic arrangements, the finished book cover effectively captures the spirit and visual allure of this influential movement.

Library Poster

Asked to design a poster for a library. Requirements for the poster were black and white color hues and something relating back to books.

My solution for this project was to take a quote from one of my favorite books and add it to an illustration that had a feeling of adventure with mystical creatures.

It was put together in Abode Illustrator.

Movie Poster

'How to train your Human' is a recreation of the movie poster 'How to Train your Dragon'.

The project required choosing a movie poster and recreating it using different elements but not using anything from the original movie poster.

I choose to put it as how to train your human because if you ever have owned a cat you would know that the cat trains you to its needs and demands.

Type "How to Train Your Human" as created in illustrator. Everything else was put together in photoshop.

Graduation Bulletin

Bulletin design entry for the graduating class of 2020 graduation. Recruitment was to have Southwest, graduation 2020 written on, and the school logo.

Created in adobe illustrator.

On the front, I put the required elements for the project. For the back I wanted it to be something related to the time. It was during the pandemic. When toilet paper was being overstocked by some and being denied to others. Just like how we were denied some of the things that normally happen to the graduating class. Was not chosen but still proud of how it turned out.
